The seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Michael Schumacher, will get back behind the wheel of a Ferrari next Monday in Barcelona for the first day.
The German, a young retiree since the end of 2006 with a runner-up position in the world championship (behind Fernando Alonso), will take the wheel of the new Ferrari F2008 for the first time this year.
He will be accompanied by Kimi Räikkönen, the reigning world champion, on Monday, while Massa will replace the German on Tuesday and Wednesday. They will drive during the three days of testing scheduled in Barcelona at the Circuit de Catalunya (Spain).
The two drivers, accompanied by several other teams except Force India, will thus experience the final pre-season private tests before the start of the Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia, in three weeks’ time.
