« At the beginning of the week, the weather conditions made the tests very difficult but on the other hand, it was good for me to gain some experience on the wet track, » said Nakajima.
« The car is performing well, but we couldn’t complete all the planned work due to the rather unpredictable weather. Overall, it was a good week for us. »
Nico Rosberg, Kazuki Nakajima, and Nico Hülkenberg were all present throughout these tests. On Thursday, the two ‘Nicos’ were on the track in the morning under wet conditions to cover long distances and work on the chassis setup.
Kazuki took Hülkenberg’s place in the afternoon to gather some useful data in dry conditions. The team will stay in Barcelona this week for the final pre-season test.
« We continued our winter testing program at the Barcelona circuit, » said Sam Michael.
« Although the first two days were wet, the last day was mostly dry, allowing us to work on the chassis setup. All three drivers were present, covering a large number of kilometers to gather as much data as possible before the Australian Grand Prix. »
