Ferrari will use all its experience in aerodynamics to try to help Italy in its quest for medals in various sports disciplines at the Olympic Games. This information follows an agreement made with the National Olympic Committee (CONI).
The Formula 1 team will primarily offer its technical assistance to its nation of heart in disciplines present at the Winter Olympics such as bobsleigh or luge.
Other advice on the materials to use will also be given for constructing canoes in the sports concerned for the Summer Games.
« If the agreement between CONI and Ferrari has contributed to one or more athlete victories, then we will be proud of it, » said Luca Di Montezemolo, Ferrari president, during a press conference.
