The 23-year-old driver said he would officially announce his decision in the near future.
« The retirement from DTM and the contract termination with Mercedes-Benz Motorsport is my own decision, » said Margaritis on the official DTM website.
« I will inform my fans about my intentions for the 2008 season in the near future. I am really looking forward to the new challenges that await me and I will face this decision. »
And I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mercedes-Benz Motorsport for their support and kindness over these three years.
