The A1 Team Great Britain, currently 6th in the standings with a 48-point deficit to the leader, Switzerland, has announced a driver change for the last two weekends of the season. The British team will use Robbie Kerr in place of Oliver Jarvis.
He will drive for the team next week during the 8th round of the season in Mexico, where he won a race last year.
It is then Robbie Kerr who will take over to conclude the season in China and Great Britain. The older of the two Britons indeed won one out of two races during his two appearances in 2007, making him logically the most suitable to drive this season.
« My goal will be to achieve the same feat as last year when I was able to win at home. It’s a great honor that the team is giving me by letting me drive there, at Brands Hatch. » Commented Kerr.
The meeting in Mexico will begin on March 14th, in less than two weeks. There will then be only two more appointments on the calendar.
