The team boss of McLaren, Ron Dennis has warned journalists not to draw unreasonable conclusions about his future after revealing that he will not be traveling to Malaysia next weekend.
Crazy rumors had circulated about the Briton suggesting his departure from the Woking team due to poor management during the espionage affair. However, Dennis confirmed this month that he had no plans to retire.
But Dennis, who recently announced his separation from his wife, will not be attending the Malaysian Grand Prix for reasons unrelated to Formula 1…
He also confirmed that he will attend all the other Grand Prix races of the season.
« I will not be in Malaysia. I’m telling you now. I need to be in England for a matter that demands all my attention. I would prefer not to be in England, but that’s life, » said Dennis.
« So, when you don’t see me in Malaysia, please don’t make false accusations. I will be present at all the other races. »
