Malcolm Wilson, team principal of BP Ford Abu Dhabi WRT, will participate in a training session for young drivers in the UK to provide them with advice.
Wilson will give them an idea of the organization that a top team of the World Rally Championship, such as Ford or Citroen, can have, as well as the level required to aspire to reach the top. His appearance is a chapter of the MSA British Rally Elite program scheduled at the University of Edinburgh since March 15.
Matthew Wilson and Scott Martin, crew of the Stobart VK M-Sport Ford World Rally Team and former members of the British Rally Elite, will also be present. They will discuss the skills and preparation required to move from the national to the international level and will testify to the assistance provided by the MSA in this transition.
The best young drivers in the country will participate in this seminar, which should enable them to increase their chances of reaching the highest level in rallying.
The MSA British Rally Elite is a national training program launched to identify and support young talent in the United Kingdom with the support of the British federation.
First session of the 2008 group, the Edinburgh event will also be open to drivers who were not selected for this promotion. The organizers have decided to add a workshop and a network broadcast during one of the three days after receiving a significant number of requests from drivers who were not initially selected for the program.
