Citroën Sport welcomes Red Bull as a new partner for its program in the FIA World Rally Championship with the crews Loeb/Elena and Sordo/Marti competing in the Citroën C4 WRC.

The international renown of the Citroën brand, its performances (three world constructors’ championship titles and four consecutive titles for Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena), as well as the exceptional personalities of its drivers, perfectly align with the spirit of Red Bull, the inventor and global leader of energy drinks, which plans to expand its presence in the French market.

Olivier Quesnel, director of Citroën Sport, is delighted with this collaboration which will begin at the next championship round in Argentina on March 27.

« We are delighted and welcome this agreement with enthusiasm. The dynamic images of our respective companies complement each other and this partnership will be beneficial as it perfectly aligns with the discipline of rallying and Citroën, a brand resolutely committed to action. »

Red Bull GmbH, a company based in Fuschl am See, near Salzburg in Austria, is present in over 130 countries around the world. Red Bull’s partnership philosophy is to develop associations with exceptional athletes and support innovative events.

Red Bull joins the 2008 partners of the Citroën-Total team: Pirelli, Le Coq Sportif, Eurodatacar, Citroën Financement, Magneti-Marelli, Sabelt, Transalliance, OZ Racing, and Météo France Sports.
