Tiago Monteiro, the former Formula 1 driver with Jordan and then Toro Rosso, has lent his voice to become the announcer for the new version of a touring car game.
This game starting with Gran and ending with Turismo will be released for the fifth time since its launch in 1997, with multiple improvements in cars and tracks. It is expected to be released in Europe in a few months on a single console, the Sony Playstation 3.
Monteiro, currently in the World Touring Car Championship – WTCC – lent his voice only to the Portuguese version of the game: « It was a whole new experience for me, » said the Seat Sport driver.
« I must say that I liked it. It’s very funny and it plays an important role in the game’s success. I’m eager to see the final result.
The version available in a few days in Great Britain is only a demo version of the game, with the full version not being released until September.
