Michael Schumacher involved in McLaren’s fine!

The seven-time world champion, now retired, Michael Schumacher will have the honor of distributing approximately 60 million dollars. This amount is part of the fine that McLaren had to pay as a sanction in the 2007 espionage case. The FIA president announced this on Wednesday.

He will also be one of the five men to be part of a committee whose recognition is international. It is the Motor Sport Safety Development Fund.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) stated in a declaration that these funds would be used over the next five years for three safety programs: one for drivers, one for circuit personnel present during races, and one for facilities.

The other members of this committee are the president of the FIA, Max Mosley, the former boss of Scuderia Ferrari, Jean Todt, the director of Mercedes motorsport, Norbert Haug, and Nick Crawford who represent the national sports associations.
