In Brief: Albers to be confirmed at Audi this week?

According to the latest rumors from across the Rhine, Christijan Albers’ contract to join Audi in DTM this season is expected to be signed. Also according to these rumors, an announcement should be made in a few days.

The former Formula 1 driver and test driver at Spyker could drive in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters an Audi A4 2006 version with the TME Futurecom team in a 2006 specification Audi A4.

Albers has already been competing in DTM for 4 years. He started in 2003 with Mercedes and then switched two years later to Audi. The driver was still listed in the German touring championship last year, but to date, his name has not yet been officially announced by the organizers of the discipline.

His teammate at TME Futurecom is expected to be the very charming Katherine Legge.
