The Chevrolet driver was leading on the track for the brand today. He brilliantly outpaced two gasoline BMWs as well as the new Seat León equipped with a TFsi turbo gasoline engine. Tom Coronel indeed takes 4th position, just one-tenth behind Augusto Farfus, who topped the first day’s testing.

Félix Porteiro, the local driver, secured the 5th position with another BMW. James Thompson with the new Honda Accord occupies the 6th place in 1:43.500. He is ahead of two Seat diesel drivers.

Andy Priaulx, the reigning double champion, is 10th with over 110 laps completed. He is the second most enduring driver on the track today after Jorg Muller.

Finally, Seat tested today the 26-year-old Spanish driver, José Manuel Pérez-Aicart. He tried a touring car from the WTCC for the first time in the petrol-powered Seat León SUNRED. He earned this test after winning the 2007 edition of the Supercup Seat Leon in Spain.
