The 2008 season has finally started for N.Technology. With a new touring car, the Honda Accord, after the termination of the contract with Alfa-Romeo at the end of 2007, the independent team has been preparing since January to provide its driver, James Thompson, with the best equipment.

The Brit had the opportunity to officially test the new Honda Accord Euro-R on the Valencia circuit mid-week. Thompson then focused on driving comfort and is pleased with the first laps.

“This was our first official test,” Thompson said. “We have been working tirelessly for a few months, covering many miles away from the media. All this will allow us to be competitive for the start of our season.”

The WTCC season – World Touring Car Championship – started over a month ago. Nevertheless, the N.Technology team has not yet taken part in a race this season, having fallen behind in its preparation. The

Development program has now been completed since Wednesday with the end of the Spanish tests.

« Our tests this week have really encouraged us. Everyone did a good job, and even though there are still quite a few points to improve, we will address them at the factory and come back stronger for our first race! »
