Nick Heidfeld was able to delight the workers of the BMW-Sauber team based in Munich as the driver drove the F1.08 inside the factory.
The event was organized to thank the employees for their support of the Formula BMW program.
« It’s good to give something back to the employees, » said Heidfeld.
Seen by more than 5000 employees, Heidfeld performed several spins, which ultimately cost him a front wing.
WTCC driver, Jorg Muller also did a demonstration with his BMW 320si.
« We are well aware that many people within the different departments are behind our results, » affirmed BMW Motorsport boss Mario Theissen.
« However, it is impossible to bring manpower to the circuits, so we had to find an alternative, something special. »
