The 10 Formula 1 teams will be present during the three days of testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in the south of France.
With the Monaco and Montreal Grand Prix as the next events on the F1 calendar, the Paul Ricard track will give teams the opportunity to simulate the Monaco and Canadian races.
Williams will be the last team to try a shark fin engine, whereas Toyota will have a radically new rear wing for the event.
Honda Racing’s team principal, Ross Brawn, stated that the team will test some visually interesting new parts before the Monaco Grand Prix.
« We have a testing track at the Paul Ricard circuit in France to prepare for Monaco and Montreal, followed by an aerodynamic test in Barcelona to validate our next step from an aerodynamic standpoint, » stated Brawn.
« However, we do not expect Monaco to be the race that demands the most grip; our calculations show that it will be the one in Singapore. »
