The engine of Lewis Hamilton’s car was inspected by the FIA as part of a routine check before the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The FIA has begun a series of tests, each more random than the last, on F1 automotive manufacturers to ensure they comply with the engine freeze.
Mercedes-Benz was the first engine manufacturer to be examined with Lewis Hamilton as the driver following the German Grand Prix.
The governing body of this sport conducted an exhaustive test on the engine and its main components by comparing it with the one that had been presented at the FIA crash test at the beginning of the year.
The organization confirmed in Hungary that all parts of the engine comply with the regulations and that there was no source of uncertainty between the element from the beginning of the year and the current one.
