The streets of Rotterdam in the Netherlands will resonate with the sound of Formula 1 this weekend when Jarno Trulli gives a demonstration of the TF107 on behalf of Toyota Racing.
One week before the European Grand Prix on the new urban circuit in Valencia, Jarno Trulli will be back at the wheel of a TF107 on a 2.2-kilometer track in the center of Rotterdam.
Fans will have the opportunity to admire a Formula 1 car in locations that are famous in this city in the Netherlands.
Toyota will also recreate a paddock that will be open to the public on Sunday, enhancing the Grand Prix atmosphere. Fans will have the chance to see the team working up close.
Trulli will make three demonstrations in the afternoon with two or three high-speed laps plus an installation lap.
He stated: « It’s very exciting to do a Formula 1 demonstration in Rotterdam. Driving in the city center will certainly be spectacular. I’m expecting a great show and it will really prepare me for the Valencia race. I’ve never driven a single-seater in such circumstances as in Rotterdam, but I won the Monaco Grand Prix a few years ago, so I think I can handle it! »
Beside this Sunday, Toyota has a lot to offer fans on Friday and Saturday.
The team will participate in the interactive racing simulation show at Ahoy in Rotterdam with pit stops. Additionally, the Toyota Motorsport cars, which are legendary for this brand, will be showcased.
Timo Glock will also be in action in Monterey, California, taking part in a parade of Toyota cars including the Scion TC sport coupe.
Then, the entire team will meet in Valencia for the European Grand Prix, where the team aims to consolidate its fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship.
