Fisichella will not be on the transfer market

Giancarlo Fisichella stated that he will be with Force India next season.

« Absolutely, » affirmed Fisichella when asked if he was going to stay.

« We are finalizing the contract with Force India for 2009, » the Italian added during a press conference in Monza.

Fisichella, 35 years old, did not score any points with the Indian team and the Roman admitted that he expected more from this first year.

« I had a difficult season because the results observed are not what we expected or hoped for, but the atmosphere is good. The pressure is very high, but we have made a step forward. »

« And the team is happy with me. Next year, we will work together again, it’s almost certain. »
