The head of McLaren, Ron Dennis, claims that his motivation to remain at the helm of the Woking team is still intact today. At the beginning of the season, however, the situation was not the same…

Throughout last winter, he had raised the possibility of leaving to focus on other responsibilities within the McLaren group.

However, he ultimately chose to stay for an additional season and acknowledges that this decision has strengthened his enthusiasm for the team.

« At the beginning of the year, there were rumors that saw me leaving my role as team principal, » said Dennis in an interview for the Daily Mail.

« And yes, the fact is that today I am no longer agonizing. I no longer question it. »
