The GP2 driver is currently looking for a team. He revealed in recent weeks that he has been in contact with several teams on the Formula 1 grid, including Honda.

His choice leans particularly towards this team. He believes that he has a lot to learn from the experienced driver Jenson Button who would then become his teammate, as well as from Ross Brawn and engineer Jock Clear.

«I can learn a lot alongside Jenson Button, as well as with Ross and Jock, » confirms the Brazilian in an interview for Autosport magazine.

« The team is very competitive, and if I have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the single-seater next season, they will all be ready to help me. I believe this is the ideal opportunity for me to join Formula 1 ».

Bruno Senna will be informed after the Barcelona tests in Spain next week, and although the team is behind in preparing for the winter tests, the young Brazilian driver is confident that the team will be competent during this testing session.

Senna stated that next season, the Honda team will be a potential contender for podiums just like BMW Sauber.

I’m fairly certain that Honda will be on par with BMW next year. They have more than enough capability.

From now on, Bruno Senna only has to prove that he deserves his place within the Honda Team next year and will thus have to make a name for himself in the paddock as soon as possible…
