The Barcelona circuit announced in a press release that it is launching a special offer for a limited time only.
Everyone who purchases their ticket to see the Spanish Grand Prix live will receive a 15% discount. The offer is valid only until November 20, so you only have a few days left to take advantage of it!
The offer is enticing for the French who cannot go to Magny-Cours in 2009, since the cancellation of the French Grand Prix. The hope of seeing a Grand Prix next year in France is still slim, while Barcelona is only two hours from the border…
The press release:
The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) has published the F-1 World Championship calendar and set May 8, 9, and 10, 2009, for the celebration of the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula One.
Buying tickets now has advantages.
Fans who purchase tickets before November 20 will receive a 15% discount on all seats. The Circuit has 77,191 seats available across 16 grandstands, including two covered ones, and the grass areas. The two covered grandstands are: the Main Grandstand (in front of the pits) and the M Grandstand (outside the Seat corner).
The Circuit, faithful to the French public
It should not be forgotten that for the past few seasons, the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix has been attracting more and more French people living near the border or in neighboring regions. The measures implemented to facilitate ticket purchases, the tourist offer around Barcelona and the Vallès region, as well as a significant hotel and restaurant capacity on the coast all contribute to this enthusiasm. Spectators can also easily access the circuit via the highway or thanks to the air services of Barcelona and Girona.
The Circuit has renewed agreements with the largest French shopping center networks: Carrefour, Géant, Galeries Lafayette, Cora, Cultura and Progrés de Lyon, Auchan, Fnac, and Virgin through agreements with specialized companies Ticketnet and France Billet. Additionally, a total of ten ticketing agencies headquartered in major French cities are selling F-1 tickets to French spectators.
