Robert Kubica has renewed his criticism of his BMW-Sauber team.
The 23-year-old Polish driver won his first Grand Prix in Canada and left the North American continent leading the drivers’ championship.
He remained in contention for the title until two races before the end of the season, but poor performances in early autumn led him to finish fourth.
Earlier in 2008, Kubica indicated that BMW-Sauber was more focused on consolidating their third place in the Constructors’ World Championship backed by a resurgence in form from Nick Heidfeld, rather than winning the drivers’ title.
« During the last two or three months, I had the feeling that the team and I did not have the same goal, » he stated today in an interview for the Formula 1 Race Report.
