Mugello Day 2 – Ferrari tries to keep its head above water

Ferrari continues to work on its new F60 car at Mugello, where the Italian team has once again been disrupted by bad weather.

The track was wet throughout the day as Kimi Räikkönen drove the new single-seater for the second time.

The Finn completed 42 laps with a best time of 1:33.920 and despite the weather, the former world champion remains positive.

« It is always nice to drive a new car. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we weren’t able to push it to its maximum, but things are coming together, » said Räikkönen.

« All the same, the first impressions are positive and, above all, it is important that we do not have any technical problems. »

His teammate Felipe Massa will replace him tomorrow.
