The Renault factory in Enstone is preparing for the second official outing of the R29 in Jerez next week.
The whole team has been very busy these past few weeks to be well-prepared for the Jerez tests. Of course, at the start of the year, the entire team is focused on preparation, development, and the constant improvement of the new car. The Jerez tests should therefore greatly contribute to these crucial preparations.
« I hope the weather conditions in Jerez will be better than those during the first tests of the year in Portimao, Portugal, a little over two weeks ago, » said a team member.
« I had never experienced such bad conditions during a test session, even the most experienced mechanics had not seen this. Anyway, let’s cross our fingers and hope for good weather in southern Spain! »
Especially since in Enstone and more generally across the whole of Great Britain, the snow has fallen abundantly like once every 15 to 20 years.
