The past week saw a break in the official pre-season tests, but three Formula 1 teams wanted to stay in the heat of the action with less than a month before the season opener in Australia.
Most of the work was done at the Ricardo Tormo circuit near Valencia in Spain, where Red Bull quietly conducted four days of testing with both Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel driving the new RB5.
One of Vettel’s tasks was to run in Adrian Newey’s second 2009 livery. No lap times were published.
