Having among her clients the Honda F1 team, lawyer Caroline McGrory reportedly registered two internet domain names, ‘brawnracing.co.uk’ and ‘brawnracing.com’, during the past week.
A potential acquisition of the team by Ross Brawn is a rumor that is increasingly being confirmed, as the first test runs are scheduled to take place on March 5th at the Silverstone circuit.
According to the same sources, a significant budget cut will be implemented to safeguard the team during this tough financial period. Around 300 positions are expected to be eliminated, and for the remaining roles, a major salary reduction is planned, including Jenson Button, the number 1 driver.
It is therefore a good omen that the new measures imposed by Max Mosley would arrive at Brawn Racing.
