Bourdais on track today with the STR4

Scuderia Toro Rosso conducted the shakedown of its 2009 car, the Ferrari-powered STR4, today at the Adria circuit in Italy.

Contrary to the initial plans, the new car was handled by Sébastien Bourdais and not by his teammate Sebastian Buemi.

Moreover, we informed you that the test would take place on Wednesday, but the trial has apparently been moved up by a day.

« The program has changed. Bourdais is on track today. Things can change easily in Formula 1, » said a close source from the Faenza team.

The Swiss newspaper Blick claims that Buemi withdrew because he was ill.

The team should take part in the final pre-season tests in Barcelona, which begin next Monday along with all the teams.
