According to Bernie Ecclestone, there is no guarantee that the French Grand Prix will return to the F1 calendar.
With the disappearance of the Magny-Cours circuit, French authorities finally unveiled detailed plans this month for a new track capable of hosting a Grand Prix.
This possibility is located in Flins – Les Mureaux, to the northeast of Paris. The goal is a race scheduled for 2011.
But when Ecclestone was asked if the project is the solution to bring France back on the calendar, the F1 CEO responded: « I don’t know ».
