McLaren and Scuderia Toro Rosso are the only two teams that chose to use the same engine as last weekend at the Australian Grand Prix.
A list was published at the Sepang circuit on Saturday morning announcing that 16 cars at the start of free practice 3 had a new engine.
However, McLaren and Toro Rosso were not on this list and therefore decided to keep the same unit that was used in Melbourne.
Drivers are allowed to use a total of eight engines over the entire season.
