Donington Park is set to take a new step in organizing the 2010 British Grand Prix with the upcoming circuit inspection by the FIA, which should take place in a few days.
Simon Gillett, the director of the circuit, seems convinced that Donington will receive the necessary approval and specifies that efforts continue in the redevelopment of the circuit.
“We work with the best in the world,” said Simon Gillett. “When you work with people like Tilke [Herman Tilke is the architect of modern circuits] to obtain the safety validation of the circuit by the FIA, you can say that you’re betting on the right horse.”
Gillett also hopes that the financial plan followed will allow for the complete reorganization of the circuit as planned; it was expected to be unveiled in March and could be announced in the coming days.
