What does he need to succeed then? Certainly more reliability with his FW31, for Nakajima to have more experience, but this will come with time, and above all, a dose of luck that needs to be provoked at the right moment. Stay tuned from Friday for the first free practice sessions and why not with Rosberg at the top of the timesheets? He certainly knows how to do it…

« Once again, the Chinese Grand Prix did not smile upon me. My main problem was a real lack of visibility because of the water. It’s good that we have another race right away to do better. »
« Bahrain is one of my favorite circuits. Last year, the car performed well, and we won’t have the same issues with tire warm-up. The level of downforce is always very important in the corners, but there’s a compromise to be made so you can fight with other cars on the straight. We are confident for this Bahrain Grand Prix and aim to achieve a good result. »
« It may not be the most interesting for us, but I’ve always had good feelings here. I first raced in Bahrain in 2004 in F3, then I won the GP2 championship in 2005. During my first race with Williams, I started from the 12th place, but by the first corner, I had more nose. After a pit stop, I had a good race to finish 7th, which means two points. I also set the fastest lap in the race. I’ve always had good races in Bahrain, I’m very happy to be here. »
Kazuki Nakajima – Racing Driver
« Shanghai was difficult. The water on the track caused an aquaplaning situation, especially at the exit of the last corner. I went off the track several times before retiring due to a transmission problem. Without that, we had a good pace, and we hope to keep it this weekend. »
« I didn’t have a great weekend in Bahrain last year because I struggled to get used to the track. I’m in a more positive mindset this year. Turns 9 and 10 are a bit more challenging. »
