Adrian Sutil was penalized with a three-place grid drop for the Bahrain Grand Prix for impeding Mark Webber during the first part of qualifying.
The Force India driver had qualified in 16th position, but now finds himself in 19th after ruining the Australian’s qualifying session.
The Red Bull driver had set the 19th fastest time but thanks to this penalty, he moves up one place.
« I just tried to hold my position. It was a misunderstanding, and I apologized to Mark [Webber] after the session, » said Sutil.
