Juan Pablo Montoya has no intention of returning to Formula 1 as he announced on Twitter. The Colombian driver stated that he is not considering a return to Formula 1 even after receiving a phone call from Frank Williams, his former boss.
The native of Bogota who recently finished second in a Nascar race in Pennsylvania has indeed been contacted by the Williams team.
«Frank Williams greeted me this morning on the phone. It was very special to talk with him, he is a great person…and no, I will not be going to Formula 1» declares the ex-McLaren driver on his social network Twitter.
The Colombian remains in eighth place in the overall NASCAR standings after 21 races. Let’s remember that the Colombian driver, with teams Williams and McLaren, won 7 races, achieved 13 pole positions for 30 podiums.
