The Toyotas will try to bring back points on the Monza circuit, despite their positions on the grid.
Jarno Trulli – 13th and 11th:
« I am happy with my lap in the second qualifying session because it was the maximum. Of course, it’s not satisfying to be 11th, and it’s extremely disappointing to miss the top 10. The Grand Prix will be difficult, but being in 11th place is not far from the top 8, and we must fight to try to bring back some points. »
Timo Glock – 9th and 16th:
« It’s frustrating to miss the second qualifying session when you’re six-tenths slower than the fastest. I was a bit bothered, and I had the potential to qualify in Q2. Tomorrow’s race will be difficult, but we will work on a strategy to gain places and do our best, as always.
Pascal Vasselon – Chassis Technical Director
« It was the kind of result we expected, but not the result we wanted. Again, the session was very tight. However, our level of competitiveness was far from the level we had at Spa. For the race, we will choose a strategy to give us the best chances of making progress. We’re going to try to finish in the points.
