Lewis Hamilton will wear a helmet in LGBT colors in Qatar
The British will have a special helmet for the Qatar Grand Prix. A country in which homosexuality is illegal.

The British man had notably worn this protection in Saudi Arabia or even in Qatar. Two years later, the seven-time world champion starts again. He announced to BBC Sport that he would do the same for the second edition of the Qatar Grand Prix.
« It’s always good to raise awareness about certain things, but it’s mostly about the work that’s done in the background and the conversations that you continue to have. This is an entire country that is very young. It took the West a lot, a lot of time to get where it is. All we can do is try to stay positive when we come to these places and seize the opportunity – that’s why I keep flying the flag here », justifies the Mercedes driver.
