The manager of Kimi Räikkönen does not believe in the prospect of joining Red Bull Racing. Earlier in the week, there were rumors of contacts between the Finn and the Austrian team, despite the advanced talks between Red Bull and Mark Webber for the second car alongside Sebastian Vettel.
There was only contact with Räikkönen, admits Steve Robertson, Räikkönen’s manager, on the Finnish channel MTV3.
The world champion of the 2007 season is currently in negotiations with McLaren and Toyota.
“We are talking with several teams and Red Bull is not one of them,” adds Robertson.
Kimi Räikkönen remains one of the top drivers yet to find a team after the successive announcements of Alonso to Ferrari and Kubica to Renault.
A comprehensive update on the 2010 Transfers is being drafted.
