Piquet Sr wants an apology from Renault

Nelson Piquet Sr threatened Renault with legal action if the French car manufacturer did not issue a public apology.

In mid-season 2009, the son of the former three-time world champion was dismissed by Flavio Briatore. The former boss of the Vitry Chatillon team was banned for life from any involvement in motor racing following the crash gate scandal.
