Jarno Trulli – 21st and 20th:
« All things considered, it’s not so bad given the amount of track time we had this morning. We’ve had some bad luck this weekend, but the team has performed very well, in a very professional manner, and we just need a bit more time to make the step forward we need in terms of performance. Tomorrow, we need to try to finish the race, gather some useful data to learn more about what’s right and wrong with the car’s behavior, making that our main goal. »
Heikki Kovalainen – 20th and 21st:
« Really good for what we were expecting. The car was very reliable, which is good, and our performance was about where we thought it would be. I’m quite happy, it’s probably not the best qualifying lap I’ve ever done, and maybe I didn’t have everything to pull it off, but we have a good base to work from for tomorrow. During yesterday’s practice, the car seemed consistent over a long distance with good reliability, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow. The most important thing is to finish the race and then see where we stand among the competition. »
Mike Gascoyne, Technical Director:
« It’s a bit of mixed emotions today, we wanted to be the best of the new teams but we missed it by just a fraction, but being the last of the new teams to have been registered, only six months ago, it’s a fantastic effort by the whole team to have completed our first qualifying session. We are now looking forward to the race with our reliability and two very experienced race drivers, now the aim is to finish the race. »
