The governing body of Formula 1, the FIA, has released the list of 2011 drivers, although 6 teams have not yet announced 2 drivers for the next season.
Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Sauber, and Lotus have confirmed their driver lineup, and the only new driver for now is the Mexican Sergio Perez in the Sauber team.
At Renault and Williams, only one of the two drivers is currently known.
Force India has not confirmed any of its two drivers from last year. It should also be noted that the list does not provide any driver for Toro Rosso, although Sébastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari are under contract for next year.
The newcomers from last year, Virgin and Hispania, don’t have any drivers for the moment.
The list indicates “Team Lotus” for Team Lotus despite the dispute over the use of the name.
