Saturday: Force India could aim for the top 10

We were hoping for a bit better from the Indian team in this qualifying session. Paul di Resta could have probably aimed for Q3 without a small mistake in his last lap in Q2, but the Scot remains optimistic for tomorrow.Adrian Sutil is not quite sure what to expect at the start of the race tomorrow, as the German driver didn't have the chance to do long stints during free practice. In any case, he will be aiming for a good result tomorrow.

Saturday: Force India could aim for the top 10

Paul di Resta – 10th and 11th:

« We were very close to entering Q3 today, but in the end, we had to settle for aiming for 11th place. Maybe the tire strategy we chose wasn’t optimal for qualifying, but I saved a set of soft tires for the race, so hopefully, that will help us tomorrow. »

« I also lost a few tenths in the second chicane during my last lap, without that I might have been able to be in Q3. But to be honest, there wasn’t much more that could be done. 11th is a good place to start the race and it’s probably better to be on the clean side of the track. »

« We have been competitive since the start of the weekend and I am sure we can have a good race tomorrow and hopefully we will score some points. »

Adrian Sutil – 9th and 14th:

« It hasn’t been the easiest of weekends so far, but I was hoping for a bit more from the qualifiers. Unfortunately, I made a mistake at the hairpin during my last lap. I hit a bump in the braking zone which locked the rear wheels and I slid. »

« Tomorrow’s race will be a bit of a leap into the unknown because I haven’t done long stints with a lot of fuel during testing, and it’s hard to judge the race pace. We also don’t know what the weather will bring, but there’s a high risk of rain. I will do my best, no matter the weather. »
