Fourth and final day of private testing in this first week in Barcelona for the Formula One drivers and teams, among which Lotus still does not appear.
Mark Webber, Jenson Button, Felipe Massa, Paul di Resta, Pastor Maldonado, Kamui Kobayashi, and Jean-Eric Vergne, already on track yesterday, are taking up their respective mounts again today.
After giving up his place yesterday to Timo Glock, Charles Pic begins his third day of testing this week while Nico Rosberg and Heikki Kovalainen take over from their respective teammates.

**09:24:** Still no timed lap for Charles Pic, Marussia is inspecting the suspension of the French driver’s car.
09:25: First timed lap of the day completed by Kamui Kobayashi in 1:26.955
09:46: Massa sets the fastest time with the Mediums in 1:25.176
10:34: Caterham reports an electrical problem with the engine of the CT01, entrusted to Kovalainen, engine change.
10:43 am: Kobayashi claims the best time with a 1:23.921
11:04: Button sets the fastest time on a single flying lap with a 1:23.200
11:39: Maldonado ends his race simulation – 71 laps completed in less than 3 hours
11:41 AM: Kobayashi takes the lead on the timesheet again with a 1:22.749
**11:47:** Red flag caused by the stoppage of Paul di Resta (9-minute interruption)
11:59: Kobayashi goes back on the attack of the clock and improves the benchmark with a 1:22.520 set on the Softs.
12:55: Paul di Resta is back on track to check that everything is fine with the VJM05.
**1:00 PM:** End of the morning, Charles Pic still hasn’t completed a single lap because a foreign object has damaged the suspension of the MVR-02.
1:05 PM: Caterham has finished the engine change on the CT01, Heikki Kovalainen should be back on track this afternoon.
**1 PM-2 PM:** Lunch break
14:08: Kovalainen is the first on track, to ensure all systems are okay on his car.
**2:48 PM:** Rosberg and Di Resta improve their respective times
