Friday: Satisfied Pic, balance issues for Glock
Charles Pic was delighted with this first day of testing. The French driver is satisfied with the new developments brought by the Marussia team in Spain. Timo Glock, on the other hand, encountered some issues with the balance of his car.
Timo Glock – 20th and 21st
To be honest, we had two difficult practice sessions today because we had balance issues with the car. It was very nervous on both types of tires so it’s a bit disappointing to still have this problem. We need to thoroughly study the data and see what we can find to improve the situation for tomorrow.
Charles Pic – 22nd and 22nd
I’m quite happy with how the day went. We made good progress between the two sessions and I could feel the gains brought by the new developments. I think there’s still more to find tonight to prepare for qualifying, but overall, I feel we can have a good end to the weekend. It’s been a good start in my opinion.
