Saturday: both Force India drivers aim for points
The Sahara Force India team is delighted after the qualifying as they successfully placed both their cars in the top 10. The Indian team was hoping for a little better, but the goal is to score good points tomorrow with both cars.
Nico Hülkenberg – 4th and 8th
I think it’s a great result for the team to place both cars in Q3, but maybe we were hoping for a bit better than 8th and 10th places, given our performance since the start of the weekend. I don’t think the rise in temperatures helped us because the car was more complicated to drive today and a bit nervous at times. For tomorrow’s race, we are very close to the front and we will fight with the cars around us and try to bring back big points.
Paul di Resta – 5th and 10th
« It was a good qualifying session, but I think we could have been a bit better placed on the grid because I didn’t do a perfect lap in Q3. We were the fastest in Q2 [it was actually Grosjean’s Lotus, ed. note] and if we could have replicated that lap in Q3, I could have been placed a bit higher on the grid. I tried to extract the maximum from the car but locked up a wheel and lost some time in the last sector. I’m going to try to focus on the positives because we were very strong throughout the sessions, the car is good on this track, and I think we will have a good race pace tomorrow. »
