Spa-Francorchamps: A solution for 2,000 buyers of The Ticket Entreprise
Following the bankruptcy of The Ticket Entreprise, many people planning to attend the Belgian Grand Prix on September 2nd are without tickets for the event. A solution has been found for 2,000 of them, but approximately 6,000 people are still left out.
We mentioned it to you last week, many ticket buyers for the Belgian Grand Prix are still waiting for their orders placed with the Dutch company The Ticket Enterprise. Today, André Maes – director of Spa Grand Prix – announces that a solution has been found for 2000 buyers.
« The Ticket Entreprise officially ordered and paid for 2,000 tickets for the Francorchamps GP, » explains Maes cited by the Belga press agency.
The tickets for these 2000 buyers will be sent to their home starting this Tuesday so they can go to the circuit next week. Now, a solution must be found for the 6000 other people affected by this issue. However, in this case, these 6000 tickets have not been paid by The Ticket Enterprise to Spa Grand Prix, so it will most likely be necessary to wait for the Dutch justice, in charge of the case, to complete its investigation before hoping to resolve the situation.
After the European Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix, the Belgian event is the third to be affected by this type of problem concerning ticket sales.
