Friday: Sauber regains its smile
After a complicated weekend in Singapore, Sauber seems to be regaining some form in Suzuka, although everything is not yet perfect and there is room for improvement tomorrow.
Sergio Pérez – 12th and 12th:
« It was a good first day in terms of work accomplished. But we need to improve our speed, and I think we can do it. I went a bit wide on my best lap, so I know there’s room for improvement, and we’ll be in better shape tomorrow.
Kamui Kobayashi – 6th and 13th:
« It’s an amazing feeling to drive here in Suzuka. It’s such a great circuit, and every lap is exciting. We have some upgrades on the car, and today’s work was to understand how the new parts work. The times seem quite close here, which means it’s too early to judge performance, but I believe we can improve the balance and setup of the car. »
