Friday: A good day in the Red Bull camp
The Red Bull drivers found the Interlagos track slippery today, but it didn't stop them from being at the forefront. This testing day was productive for Vettel and Webber, both for this weekend and also for 2013.
Sebastian Vettel – 2nd and 2nd:
« Today was okay, it was very slippery for everyone. It was quite warm today, and it wasn’t easy with those track conditions, so I think everyone suffered from traction and stability issues. For now, we can be happy, we’ve done our homework, there will be tomorrow morning to manage, and then we will have to build for what’s next. »
Mark Webber – 3rd and 3rd:
The track was slippery today, it was very hot. I think we were all a bit surprised by the lack of grip we had, but we made the most of it today in these conditions. We accomplished a lot and also did some work for 2013, which was useful. These are the last tests before next year, so we made the most of this beautiful sunny day in Brazil, before heading to Jerez in February where it will be colder.
