After a three-week break since the last Grand Prix – held in Malaysia, which made headlines following team orders given by Red Bull and Mercedes, Formula 1 is back this weekend in Shanghai, China, for the third round of the season.
During free practice 3, held earlier today, Fernando Alonso distinguished himself by setting the fastest time, ahead of his teammate Felipe Massa, Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes, and the two Red Bulls of Vettel and Webber. The session took place in dry conditions, which is expected to be the same for the qualifying session.
