End of season F2 trials: Zane Maloney leading Victor Martins

As the F2 championship is over, the different teams are conducting end-of-season tests with their drivers for the 2024 season and those remaining in the same teams. This gives them the opportunity to have one last drive in the 2023 F2 cars before the introduction of new single-seaters that are more aerodynamically similar to the F1 cars.

The best times occurred during the morning session

Zane Maloney achieved the fastest time of the entire second day of end-of-season testing in Abu Dhabi. The Carlin driver clocked a time of 1:35.783 this morning. Frenchman Victor Martins, who finished third in Formula 2 in his rookie season, recorded the second best time of the day, also set during the morning session with a time of 1:35.888. With 59 laps completed in the morning in Abu Dhabi, the French driver completed the most laps. Isack Adjar, a Red Bull Academy driver who switched from Hitech to Campos Racing, only managed the 11th fastest time of the morning with a time of 1:36.100.

Prema, who finished first and second yesterday, were 6th and 12th in the morning. Rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli was faster than yesterday with a time of 1:35.995. His teammate Oliver Bearman, supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy, was slightly slower than yesterday, with a lap time of 1:36.101.
