The last Formula 1 race took place last weekend in China, where Fernando Alonso triumphed ahead of Kimi Räikkönen and Lewis Hamilton, and F1 is already back this weekend, in Bahrain this time.
During the third free practice session, held earlier today, Fernando Alonso distinguished himself by setting the fastest time, ahead of the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.
Note that three drivers will incur grid penalties after this qualifying session: Lewis Hamilton (5 places) for changing his gearbox, Esteban Gutiérrez (5 places) due to his collision with Sutil in China, and Mark Webber (3 places) due to his collision with Jean-Eric Vergne in China.
