Friday: A Normal Day for Lotus

After performing a few maneuvers in the morning, Romain Grosjean managed to secure the fourth fastest time, a performance that his teammate would repeat in the afternoon. Even though the Lotus is slightly behind, the two drivers are not worried as it was a normal Friday according to Kimi Räikkönen.

Friday: A Normal Day for Lotus

Kimi Räikkönen – 8th and 4th

It was a rather normal Friday. We tried several things on the car, drove with different tires, and we will have to look at the data to see where we think we stand. We ended the day not too far from the best time, so we can say that the day isn’t a disaster, but there are things to improve on the car which is normal after a first day of running.

Romain Grosjean – 4th and 18th

« It was a good day. It may not look good on the timesheet, but we didn’t finish our lap on Medium tires as I had to come in. The track is not the easiest to understand in terms of tire performance because there is a lot of degradation, and of course, this morning’s weather conditions made things a bit difficult. We completed a good number of laps to collect as much data as possible, so we will work on the settings tonight, on which we should be able to improve things. »
